The screen shot below shows a newly created order in the Order
List Table
. The mouse pointer is pointing at an image of eye glasses. The eye
glasses let you know that you can click on the row to select the order.
You can click anywhere on the row with eye glasses (see screen shot above) and the
order will be loaded into Customer-Order View as shown in the screen
shot below. With the order in Customer-Order View you can update any of the various
fields in the order. This includes fields on the Bill To Tab as
well as the Misc Order Info Tab. After making a change to any of
the fields on these Tabs, click the Save
button. This saves the changes to the database.
Customer-Order View is made up of three sub-tabs:
- Ship To
- Bill To
- Misc Order Info
The default sub-tab is Ship To
which is shown in the screen shot below.
Some of the text fields in the screen shot below are surrounded by a black border
line. The black border line indicates that the field will display text but can't
be typed in by the user.
To ship a package or letter to an existing customer, click the New Order Same
Customer button. Choose an item to ship for the new order using the
green drop down list. Then click the Add Order button.
Next click on the Shipping Options Tab as shown in the screen shot
below. Select your shipping options, such as shipping service, and then click the
printer icon shown below (located above the RePrint button). Your shipping label
will now print. You can view our online demo of shipping a package. Before trying to
print a shipping label, be sure you have entered the
User Account information for each carrier.
After you have printed a DHL or FedEx shipping label, you can cancel the shipment
by clicking the Void Shipment button.
The Reprint button gives you a second chance to print your shipping
label if your printer jams, etc.
